What a charming little farm house in horse country! Hosts are experienced and responsive. Looking out the kitchen window over the open field was calming. Sitting on the back porch, sipping coffee, looking at the flower garden, serene. Sitting on the front porch swing, peaceful. This is a very tastefully decorated home with a well-equipped kitchen for preparing any meal your heart desires and talents will allow! Why cook though when Locke Store is right up the street? Locke Store is a local gem and a real bonus to have near the home as they have high quality baked goods (Veg Tart is amazing), barista-crafted coffee, an excellent wine selection, some by the glass, choice beers, high quality charcuterie and other niche international fare. Would stay again and will recommend to friends and relatives who are looking to visit in Clarke county and the surrounding area.
