Great experience. The cottage was lovely — Caleb and Briana spared no expense. They included a page of recommendations for local things to do, eat, see. I wanted to do the short AT hikes but ran out of time. I really appreciated meeting my hosts. Always a big plus for me. I loved their STUFF :-) Wallpaper, paintings, furniture, bedding, farmhouse sink, shower and tiles... I worried about having to get down the narrow steps to pee in the middle of the night, given my very long feet and old-person eyesight, but it went fine. Spectacular landscape. UVA arboretum great. Cool nearby towns. Breakfast sandwich at the Millwood store unbeatable. Want to move to NW Virginia ASAP. Wide-open views of meadow and hills. Lots of horse farms. If I were a horse I'd have lots more housing options!
